Hi, is there a module that shows information about updates for installed modules?
Thank you very much Christian

https://github.com/Jopyth/MMM-Remote-Control
Developer branch can update modules and MM, but not identify if there is a module update available. -
Doesn’t the updatenotification already do exactly this? I also checked his code and he does check for every module if there are any commits that haven’t been pulled yet.
Edit: Oh only just noticed that this post is a month old, don’t know if it already existed at that time. -
@tosti007 thanks for your answer. It looks like it only notice about the MM application not 3rd modules…
-
@chrisfoerg but I believe the code did loop through all of them, will check again later

@yawns Checked again, it cycles through all the modules except the default modules. After doing some testing it turns out that in
getRemotes
the given function never gets called. So the list of “modules to check” is always empty. No idea why since I couldn’t find much of an documentation of simplegit for some reason. I will open a new topic for this. -

My bad, you are absolutely right. Sorry!

@yawns no problem at all :) if you wouldn’t have said something I also wouldn’t have seen the other problem
