Wyze doorbell module

I saw on here that someone had made a module that showed the doorbells video on the MM screen when someone walked up or rang the doorbell.

I was wondering if someone could make one that works for the Wyze brand Doorbell…???

@plainbroke Depending on the camera you might have to update or use a different firmware that supports RTSP for live streams.

Do you use Home Assistant now? Or are you looking to display feed or image directly on your mirror?

There is no rtsp firmware update for the camera in question.
Nope on the Home assistant.

@plainbroke I used this module for a while https://github.com/shbatm/MMM-RTSPStream I then realized I only really needed timestamp images.

I use a Reolink doorbell camera now, but when I did use a Wyze camera I had to find a "DFANG " firmware.

I built a module for showing video from a Unifi doorbell.

You’ll need 2 things - and RTSP stream from the doorbell camera and also some way to notify the module when the doorbell is rung, the UI one has webhooks that can be triggered

If you don’t have those I have no idea as I do not have a Wyze doorbell

@plainbroke I just got a firmware update and I see RTSP is listed under advanced settings for my Wyze Pan Camera. I have not set it up yet. Earlier I tried using Wyze-Bridge and got it to work with my Wyze V1 camera. None of my newer Wyze cameras would work. It looked like newer firmware prevents the bridge connection.
