        That does not help.
        I did the rebuild with the actual electron version 1.6.11 and an abi of 48,
        but no difference.

          I just found out that this error happens only if I start with
          node serveronly.
          If I do an npm start, everything is fine.

            @howi42 it looks like the error is related to one of those modules and not to electron

            at bindings (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-PIR-Sensor/node_modules/bindings/bindings.js:76:44)
            at Object. (/home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-PIR-Sensor/node_modules/epoll/epoll.js:1:99)

              No problem, the PIR runs fine, but just not under ‘node serveronly’.
              I can live with that.
