Starting out,

Hello all, Thank you for taking the time to check this out, I am just starting out on my Magic Mirror journey, and I need some help already (lol) I have an HP Pavilion 23TM I got for free from a family member, and I decided to try and make it into a Magic Mirror. It is a 23" Touch screen monitor… So, the first thing I am looking for is some sort of one way mirror film that allows touch, or some other solution if anyone knows of one. After I get that, I believe I can work my way through guides but I haven’t seen much in terms of touch screen Magic Mirrors… Any help is appreciated!

using a touch screen behind glass may not work very well. When we mount tvs behind glass and want to enable a touch screen feature we add it with a touch film applied to the glass, then it goes to a computer that the monitor is also hooked up to and becomes the input source. In this case the TVs we’re using are usually just a regular LED panel not a touch panel.

I don’t want the touch screen behind glass. I am looking for a one way reflective film to apply to the touch screen that will turn it into a one way mirror, but still allow its native touch ability to work.
