This is open source. You can use for your own business if know how to explain the rights correctly. But Its also possible that they did their own code similar to michmich. There a lot of companies have similar codes for the magic mirror in Germany.

Well if they have success with it I guess thats fine, but I really doubt it.
I mean in general they use a OpenSource Software, so what they offer is a building service for mirrors and maybe the development of Modules for the company.
Well it is a school start up students can do to try it out. Sometimes failing helps a lot with learning aswell.
btw they are not the only people that take the MM2 build the mirror with maybe (not sure) own modules and sell it
https://www.magirror.one/technik/, so I guess there is either really a market for it or there are quite some failed startups

Of course the idea to produce smart mirrors is not from REVELC, but their idea is to insert advertisment on the screen and to sell this idea!!! It is not their mistake that the press took that wrong! Furthermore the youngsters don’t pass the inventor’s idea off as their own. They programmed their own software

Of course it would be a lot of additional work developing an own system from scratch, so it is reasonable using existing software. And still it would be nice and fair to mention the use of MagicMirror as a base system if they use it. The screenshot on revelc.de looks VERY familiar. Besides that your website should contain more pictures and details to let people know what modules can do and how they look.

            Good luck with your marketing
