Speech Recognition

I just found MagicMirror yesterday and have looked thru the code on Github. However, I’m still unclear how you interact with the mirror. Is there speech recognition and/or visual/spacial recognition?

In its default state, there is no interaction. However there are several third party modules that add that, from camera modules that provide facial recognition and taking selfies, to motion sensors that can turn off the screen when not in use. Being that it’s a modular system and open source, you are welcome to roll your own and submit it as a module.
