I want to show a map from mapbox on my magic mirror but it is only visible when i browse to the magic mirror (localhost:192.168.1.10:8080) and not on the mirror self.

Has someone any idea how to fix this problem?

@Lorenz If it shows on other browsers then it’s probably so that the built in electron browser isn’t capable of rendering the map.

Try running a different browser on the Pi itself and see if that sorts it.

you can also run electron on the pi, open a terminal window

        ~/MagicMirror/node_modules/electron/dist/electron url

Yeah it’s because the electron browser doesn’t support webgl2. Do you know a solution for this problem?

@Lorenz - You can configure your mirror to use the built-in Chromium browser instead of electron. You’ll need to do the following:

            1. modify your startup script to go node serveronly instead of the usual npm start.
            2. Set the home page of the chromium browser to http://localhost:8080.
            3. Put the browser into kiosk mode.
            4. Set the browser to start on boot.
