Hello guys, I need your help. For a few days I’ve been trying to create a way to display my bus timetables. The data I’m trying to get from a json file. I tried with mmm-jsonTable and with mmm-json-feed without success. Below is what I get.
      0_1560359498755_Opera Snapshot_2019-06-12_175811_localhost.png
In the link you can see the json files that I would like to display, only one or two at the same time in separate instances, but I would like to choose which ones to display. I do not really know programming but I’m trying to learn, so please give me some ideas how can i do it.
If you have any questions please ask me.
      Thanks.

@electros you could look at mmm-bustimes. It is a similar module and also parses a json file (a different one) into a table
        Git link. https://github.com/73cirdan/MMM-bustimes

        Modules MMM-rainfc, MMM-bustimes, MMM-Harmony, MMM-Rijks

Well, in the last 2 days I tried to work on this module but I did not succeed. I tried to look at how other modules are built with the same destination and I search the internet for various tutorials about js but I think I’m too old to understand😞 :face_with_cold_sweat: .
That being said I am willing to pay a modest amount for someone who takes the time to make this module for me. Please help me. Thank you

Its not that hard electros. Mykle isn’t the youngest either😄

Make 1 small target at a time. Eg

1 run an existing module eg bustimes
2 change the nodehelper to read your datasource
3 decide on the dataformat to feed into the getdom
              4 format the dataformat

              Modules MMM-rainfc, MMM-bustimes, MMM-Harmony, MMM-Rijks

@cirdan it’s easy to say for you, you created that module.😄 But I’m still trying for a few days and nothing, no progress. The problem is I know what the module should do to display the correct data but I do not know how to put this in js.😞

@cirdan said in Bus timetable from json file:

Ha! Nor am I the oldest!

You are in very good hands, @electros. I see @sdetweil is going to help you. He has helped me in the past, too. Really, he’s a genius. 👍
