        Fixed it by running a script outside the modules using this method!

          Hi Onis, I got the module running without a script. Did you add the user to the GPIO group and executed the command for turning the HDMI on/off?

            @onis_uk what’s funny is that I cannot get it work any longer… since Buster came out and I upgraded it turns off but not back on…LOL

              @cowboysdude someone had to add a parm to the command

              Either way, i found another way which is using the command 'vcgencmd display_power 0 2' and
              'vcgencmd display_power 1 2' 
              where the 0 stands for Off and 1 stands for On and the 2 stands for my display ID.
