MMM-PIR or MMM-PIR-Sensor issues...

Fixed it by running a script outside the modules using this method!

Hi Onis, I got the module running without a script. Did you add the user to the GPIO group and executed the command for turning the HDMI on/off?
-
@onis_uk what’s funny is that I cannot get it work any longer… since Buster came out and I upgraded it turns off but not back on…LOL
-
@cowboysdude someone had to add a parm to the command
Either way, i found another way which is using the command 'vcgencmd display_power 0 2' and 'vcgencmd display_power 1 2' where the 0 stands for Off and 1 stands for On and the 2 stands for my display ID.

@sdetweil Thank you!! Been looking all day… gonna try this right now!
-
@sdetweil My old Pir Sensor does not work at all on Buster.
-
@cowboysdude eh?
-
@sdetweil if u ssh in do the two commands work?
-
IN case anyone is still looking for a way to do this since they updated the PI4 it’s easier:
You can use 1 of 2 methods here:
https://github.com/cowboysdude/Pir-Sensor
or [even better solution IMO]

- Thanks to don’t to advertise any of my modules on this forum
- Thanks to not offer any support of my modules on this forum
I repeat again (again, again ?):
- I am not a reference in this forum
- I’m a VERY BAD guys in this forum
- That’s why any of my modules is not on the 3rd party modules
