Fixed it by running a script outside the modules using this method!

    cheers

Hi Onis, I got the module running without a script. Did you add the user to the GPIO group and executed the command for turning the HDMI on/off?

@cowboysdude someone had to add a parm to the command

Either way, i found another way which is using the command 'vcgencmd display_power 0 2' and
          'vcgencmd display_power 1 2'
where the 0 stands for Off and 1 stands for On and the 2 stands for my display ID.

IN case anyone is still looking for a way to do this since they updated the PI4 it’s easier:

You can use 1 of 2 methods here:

                    https://github.com/cowboysdude/Pir-Sensor

                    or [even better solution IMO]

                    https://github.com/bugsounet/MMM-NewPIR

                      • I’m a VERY BAD guys in this forum
                      • That’s why any of my modules is not on the 3rd party modules
