    When I switch my screen to vertical by using rotate_display=1, the magic mirror stops displaying on the screen. The pi desktop is rotated and I can see the magic mirror displaying on my VNC but its not on the screen. Any thoughts what might be causing this?

        @sdetweil Sorry I’m not sure what you mean. Where would I check the display number? Is that a setting for the magic mirror or for the raspberry pi in general

        If its just a matter of seeing if the orientation changed then the screen did have the orientation I wanted but when I booted magic mirror it was all black (on the monitor) but appeared on my VNC.

          @JRB1988 the command is display_rotate=1
          Not sure if that’s the issue though.

          If you have a Pi 4 have a look at this:
