        @wagon40 to install MM again, you will need to rename the current folder out of the way

        do this

        cd ~
        mv MagicMirror  MagicMirror.save

          can you send me the direct script to place in the command line to load your script? I have tried a few bash $( bala bal bal) and im not getting much luck.

          I tried to follow this https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/9386/installing-on-a-pi-zero/72
          but of course it wont start. screen goes to sleep and it only starts for a minute then goes to desktop.
          I installed buster with desktop.

            @wagon40 from the page I referenced

            bash -c "$(curl -sL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sdetweil/MagicMirror_scripts/master/raspberry.sh)"

            you can do that over ssh, or on the pi monitor terminal session

            it will prompt you about autostart with pm2 and turning off screensaver

                npm WARN grunt-stylelint@0.13.0 requires a peer of stylelint@^12.0.0 but none is installed. You must install peer dependencies yourself.

                  @wagon40 hm… I don’t see that on my pi 0…

                  And electron is optional, so there should be no need for chrome driver

                        Tried to npm start and it states that i dont have a config.js. went to the desktop and i can navigate to the magicmirror file and open the config sample. not sure why it isnt loading? did a reboot and it is not starting MM.

                          @wagon40 because the install didn’t finish… copy config.js.sample to config.js

                          can u show me the ~/install.log?

                          other things might fail too… as it didn’t complete the install steps…

                          i am trying again right now on my pi 0, but on jessie (as thats the OS level I have installed there at the moment)

                                    erase the current MagicMirror folder (rm -rf MagicMirror )

                                    and run the install script again , they changed some upstream library to hard fail…
                                    but we didn’t need it anyhow…

                                          was able to get it to work. only issues is screensaver continues to active.
                                          tried this with no luck

                                          sudo nano /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/autostart

                                          add the following lines:

                                          @xset s noblank
                                          @xset s off
                                          @xset -dpms
                                          Save and close, using the commands CTRL-O and CTRL-X.

                                          Go to lightdm.conf:

                                          sudo nano /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf

                                          add the following lines:

                                          xserver-command=X -s 0 -dpms
