Hi, just start to learn about MM. The current weather forecast module shows the days in vertical order. Has another one able to change the layout to horizontal mode where you can have 5 or 7 days in the footer next to each other instead of top to bottom.
I am thinking of using the bottom bar to place the weather forecast with date and below the icon for the forecast and then the min-max temp. Anyone has done that?

      Thanks

I’m not trying to sell this module but it’s somewhat what you’ve described. Have a look.

Exactly what I need except that upon further reading, it requires darkSky API key which no longer available when I get on the site. The older version requires weather underground API key and you can only get if you have a weather device. Man, they make it tough to get a simple key 🙂 Thanks for the response.

Yeah, I forgot about darksky not offering a free api key anymore and that those that do have them will see them expire soon. I’ll look around for another free api and re-write the module at some point. I’m in the middle of a few things right now so I can’t say when I’ll get to it. I’ll make some sort of announcement when it’s done. I do appreciate your interest. Thanks.

@Mykle1 I think having horizontal or vertical would be useful options. Appreciate your response.

This module was designed specifically for use in the bottom_bar position. So, I won’t be making any changes to the display aspect. I’m in the process of porting MMM-BMW-DS to another api as Darksky has cancelled the issuance of free api keys and the ones that are still active will expire some time soon.

@Mykle1 Sure. You could use the same API key from openweathermap.
