      Re: MMM-MLB

Anyone else having this issue? All other modules work fine. This module worked last year and I thought it was just a matter of time that the scores would show up however they still aren’t there.

I deleted the directory and reinstalled it. I updated MagicMirror. It still just shows the header but no info.

      Any ideas?

@zheinrich most likely they changed the source url, or the data…

@zheinrich I don’t know if @cowboysdude is still around I know they originally created the module and it was last updated in November 2022.

In the meantime I applied to access the MLB API and will see if they grant access. If they do then I will look to see if anything has changed.

@zheinrich MLB made a ton of statistical data changes this year, renaming darn near everything due to rule changes. I doubt the scores will ever show up.

@zheinrich That tracks with the very first days of the module. For some reason, MLB changes their data URL every year and sometimes the data format. Something about having the data available for year-by-year analysis. Most other professional sports do not do this.

I submitted a form to MLB to request access to their api and was denied. I emailed requesting access as a hobbyist and was told no.
