Is there a place where people can share their config files?
-
Hello MagicMirror Builders
A little background info
I’m new to the world of smart mirrors and just got MagicMirror2 software installed in my Raspberry Pi.
I been playing with the config.js file and learning some new bits, which got me thinking.
My thoughts
Although I am enjoying learning to adapt the config file. It would be super useful if their was a repository somewhere that let people share their config files so others could download them.
My question
Is there already a place where people can share their config files for MagicMirror2?
If not would anyone be interested in creating something so we can show and share modified config files.

@1uke_ you maybe want to checkout the showroom section, people sometimes share their config there too. If you see something interesting on pictures, you can ask the authors for their config.

I had the same idea but slightly different.
Instead of sharing a config file, you can also share the complete image.
I make regular backups with win32diskmanager. -

Yes it can be a good idea but another good idea is to when you have a good config.js working make a copy of it just in case.
So I suggest you do what @strawberry-3-141 says

Hi @strawberry-3-141, @donboon3, @johnnyboy @cowboysdude @lolobyte
Thanks to everyone for replying.
For this to work I was thinking it could be different to a forum and perhaps needs an interface and layout of it’s own.
Something visual so it’s easy to pick out the information and see how it looks.
I have mocked something up - would love to get your feedback on this
