I am coming over from dakboard and have an IPS display so I actually don’t want to have my display look like a mirror. Does anyone have a resource for someone who can build custom frames with a larger lip on one side to accommodate the monitor I’m using? I’m very hesitant to make this on my own… thanks!

Carpenter or some paint shop/gallery might get an order of custom frames.

I asked a local kitchen-dealer for an old door of a kitchen cupboard with glass insert for my dashboard.
Nobody would identify it as an old door if they don’t know the former use.

@whimsicality I would suggest someone that does cabinetry and I would never have thought of it but I think a good frame shop would also be a good option. People frame flags, and all types of heirlooms and curio’s so they probably can come up with something of the appropriate depth.

@whimsicality - Any custom framing place should be able to create a facing frame for you. Also, Hobby Lobby and Michaels, the hobby supply chains, have framing services that should be able to give you what you need.
