      see https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/19362/googleassistant-and-related-modules

note that he said he intends to remove all his modules

i do not know what precipitated his withdrawl. i can see the conversation, but was not involved. he announced his intentions to another user asking where a module went before i posted the notice.
      https://forum.magicmirror.builders/post/123364

he was banned (by another moderator) for attacking another member (i was in the car all day yesterday, 350 mile road trip)

i reinstated him, and he did it again

this will not be tolerated. we are adults, and are expected to behave that way. you have a disagreement w someone you resolve it outside the forum. if you cant resolve it, you STILL don’t mention it here.

i ban posters every day trying to post crap here.
i do not provide explanation, or second chances

      this is all very disappointing

I also used several great modules from this developer.
I followed the advice to disable the GA related updates and copy the used modules as backup.
I disabled the GA module, YT module, detector module, browser module,…
When I look in my LOG file I still see that the modules (from this developer) not GA related generating errors.
Is there something we can do about the errors?

I also just looked for the module as I wanted to contribute some troubleshooting guide and didn’t find it.

As I have installed the module, what do you think about re-publishing it so that it doesn’t get lost?
It is MIT-license so no problem about that!

                                Hi,

Is this the correct place to ask questions about the module?

If so, is there any way to test that it is actually running?

I have installed the module for using a PIR module but nothing appears in the screen in the place I requested it.

                                Thanks

                                          @lif I meant MMM-PIR config setup

there are different numbering schemes for GPIO pins and different ways to access

the doc (readme) describes the different choices.

Yes, I think so, the pir is connected to pin 40 on the Raspberry pi 3b which I’m sure is GPIO 21
