      @com1cedric

      I had tried a Hannspree Touch monitor which worked out of the box with Raspian OS - without any driver installation.
      So it should work with MagicMirror as well.
      Video is connected via HDMI and touch is realized via USB.

      I do not use it for my MagigMirror - it‘s to small for my use-case.

      If you really want to realize a MIRROR keep in mind that every capacitative touch functionality will NOT work behind a reflecting surface.
      For this use case you have to consider IR-Frames around your mirror.
      If you just want to use the monitor - fine …

      Regards,
      Ralf

        Hello @rkorell , and thank you for your advise!

        My mirror should be just a monitor without any reflecting surface, using MMM-Pages and MMM-page-indicator.

        @sdetweil and @edward-shen : do you think your modules MMM-Pages and MMM-page-indicator should work with a kind of “Hannspree Touch monitor” or IR-Frame, without using a mouse? Can you please advise me?

        Thank you in advance and best regards.

        Cédric

          @com1cedric touch monitor/ir-frame is a mouse from the apps perspective, touch invokes click, movement is mouse movements

          pageindicator circles are buttons/links , you can change the image thru css

          so, if the display sends touch events, the browser will react
          i do not know the hardware

              @com1cedric where are you located?
              Bckground: If in feasible distance I could send you my Hannspree Display for testing purposes …

              Warm regards,
              Ralf

                @rkorell thank you very much for your proposal, but I just ordered it (I am in Switzerland).

                I will then test it and send it back if it does not work.

                I will inform you in any case whether if was successful or not.

                Kind regards,

                Cédric

                    hello @rkorell, wenn you tested your Hannspree Touch monitor, did you have to change any parameter on the raspberry, so that the “touching points” work?
                    On mine, it is working fine in landscape mode, but in the portrait mode, the points are “mirrored”, so that it is impossible to use it without parametring that. Thank you in advance, Cédric

                        @sdetweil , @com1cedric , yes, that’s what I would have suggested as well - use

                        Option "TransformationMatrix" "0 -1 1 1 0 0 0 0 1"

                        or similar in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf …

                        Regards,
                        Ralf
