Which solution for touching screen?
-
@com1cedric touch monitor/ir-frame is a mouse from the apps perspective, touch invokes click, movement is mouse movements
pageindicator circles are buttons/links , you can change the image thru css
see https://forum.magicmirror.builders/post/118877so, if the display sends touch events, the browser will react
i do not know the hardware -
@sdetweil hello Sam, great, thanks a lot!
-
@com1cedric where are you located?
Bckground: If in feasible distance I could send you my Hannspree Display for testing purposes …Warm regards,
Ralf -
@rkorell thank you very much for your proposal, but I just ordered it (I am in Switzerland).
I will then test it and send it back if it does not work.
I will inform you in any case whether if was successful or not.
Kind regards,
Cédric

@rkorell
hello @rkorell, wenn you tested your Hannspree Touch monitor, did you have to change any parameter on the raspberry, so that the “touching points” work?
On mine, it is working fine in landscape mode, but in the portrait mode, the points are “mirrored”, so that it is impossible to use it without parametring that. Thank you in advance, Cédric -
@com1cedric didn’t you just.post solving this

@sdetweil , @com1cedric , yes, that’s what I would have suggested as well - use
Option "TransformationMatrix" "0 -1 1 1 0 0 0 0 1"
or similar in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/40-libinput.conf …
Regards,

@sdetweil yes, this one can be closed. But I do not see the button to close it

@com1cedric this was started as a conversation, not an issue…
