@yo-less Did you also pull the MM 2.0.4 main framework? That’s where the icons went… Then again, when you did heavy modding… ;) Care to share screenshots of your version?

@RedNax I went to my home/pi/MagicMirror folder and typed in “git pull”, which is when it updated. If there is an additional step to update the main framework, please let me know.

Sure, the adjustments I have made so far are mostly based around the idea that information should only be presented if it is relevant (or actually existent at all)

Only show precipitation if the probability for rain and the expected precipitation is above 0 % / mm
Only show the umbrella icon if there is a day with precipitation in the forecast table
Only show windspeed if it is above 0 kph.
I’ve removed the windspeed icon and changed it to a text line like this: 12 km/h + wind direction icon
In the forecast table the forecast temperature for any given day is shown until sunrise of that day (As I have the hourly forecasts I don’t really need the forecast for the day after sunrise, so generally I have my forecast table start the day after today - In the time between midnight and sunrise, this isn’t all that great though as it means that I only see the forecast until, say 10am, shortly after midnight)
I’ve added some spaces to unclutter the layout
I’ve changed the short version of the days to all caps

Here’s why: Where I live it can sometimes get pretty cold in the morning, but within hours it’s humid and hot and sometimes it gets cold later in the evening so a simple quote of the daily high and low doesn’t really represent the days all that well. And if you know that it’s mild in the morning and hot in the afternoon you can dress differently than when it’s cold in the morning and then hot for the rest of the day. Not sure if that is all too helpful for others out there ^^.

Alright, I’ve forked the main repository and will try to submit a pull request after merging the two versions.
I like your light_display idea, let’s see how much time and energy I can muster :)

Hey @RedNax I am getting a black screen as well when I set up this module and im trying out all the things posted here and it doesn’t seem to help. I know my api key is good because I have checked it at least 100 times. Here is my config.js:

Did you ever update both the MagicMirror and MMM-WunderGround to the latest versions? The weather-icons-wind.css are now part of the MM standard install.

@RedNax It works now hahaha I feel like an idiot. I had updated MMM-WunderGround like a million times but for some reason never once thought to update the MM its self. But thank you for the help!

Can i Change the Orientation of the first column to flush right?

Gettin’ the black screen as well…
I’ve gone to the “post that may assist me” but I can’t seem to find anything from it. When looking at the console tab when F12 is pressed, it has stopped after 3 lines at the “Load script: modules/MMM-WunderGround//MMM-WunderGround.js” Opening that file it has the defaults for the api and pws blank. ok.

Looking at the module coding…

@Crispis I’m not sure, but I think you may not need the comma after the ending curly bracket if you only have 1 item in modules. (3rd line from the bottom) I think that might be why config: { } doesn’t get an ending comma.

Everything seems correct in your config. What worked for me was updating the Magic Mirror itself and then it started working. If that doesn’t do it let me know and I could try to see what else I did.

Did an update with:
cd ~\MagicMirror
git pull
and then removed the “,” … still getting the black screen.

When I remove THIS particular module from my whole set, the mirror works fine. I’m not sure whats wrong in that section.

@Crispis Can you post your full config.js please? (if the above is just truncated) I’m wondering if there’s something just before the MMM-Wunderground module that’s causing you grief.

Are you sure that CO/Denver is correct?

@chrisfoerg I am not sure if CO/Denver is correct. I thought it was the “STATE/CITY” and Denver happens to be very close to me so I went with that initially. It wasn’t working with the “IUTRETCH” or “NY/New_York” inputs either.

@Shockwave I already began to…start…I tried to call up the file through 192.XXX/config/config.js but that gives me a file to save, which then I can’t open as it continues to prompt the save file. When I drop it into notepad, its…word wrap made it too difficult to read and the line was not gonna happen. I’ve got… the entire config.js that I guess I could e-mail? I don’t think attaching it to this would be a good move? Better yet…what is the correct method for acquiring/posting the full config.js?
