EoF's Touch Screen Magic Mirror (95% Completed)
-
@EoF thanks for sharing your progress so far - looks great. What’s the best way that you’ve found to implement touch on the software side of things? Do you just have some javascript touch events setup in main.js that just search the DOM tree at that spot and forward a notification to the appropriate module?
-
@konnorbeard They are simply click events. A touch is nothing more than a click. The mouse is just hidden, so you can’t see it.
oh and, thank you!

is the kit multitouch?
-
@sorpionking674 He said it was a resistive touch panel, so I suspect not.

Looks really awesome… keep us up to date please… this is what I’m going to do for my 40" livingroom ‘control’ center ;)

The old topic and this one, are around for some time but I’m just finding out. I’m loving the work that you made and would like to now where you bought your product and if you like them? The connect issue is in the past and think @EoF mirror is still running great!!
Myself would love a version 2 off my mirror and touch screen is a nice upgrade :)
