the position where the modules are supposed to show only a black black screen rest of modules work fine
maybe fonts or the nunjucks… (from vendor folder)
I did the fonts but no clue what nunjucks is and how to fix it when I googled it I only got pictures of nunjucks
-
@swvalenti nunjuks is the web content templating code, which some of the modules use (it generates the web content from a ‘form’ like definition)
but that will not be installed if you do not npm install from the MagicMirror/vendor folder

I followed the complete walkthrough but I can’t diagnose what I did wrong if you say that I did. Sorry to be a bother Sam

@swvalenti I just install the module on my Windows MM 2.18 instance without trouble…
it was missing a library , per the back screen link… once I fixed that the module came up without issues

sam whatever you told me to not which step I got it all working. Only issue now is two modules are not centered correctly even when using top_center…how or if you can use css for that?
-
@swvalenti said in Complete Walkthrough - Install MagicMirror on a PC - Windows 7/10:
how or if you can use css for that
maybe… depends on the module

yes, you cannot have the ./ in front… windows doesn’t understand that …
read the instructions again
-
@swvalenti you shouldn’t update things unless u know why you are doing it…
we test with certain runtimes and release every 3 months
