Question About Mounting a Mirror in a Dorm
-
25 cents worth of spackle would fill the hole needed for a lag bolt that would hold the mirror, then a dab of paint. Done.

True in theory. I don’t know where oldversions lives, but in Germany it is illegal to even put a single nail into the wall. The only one who is allowed to do so is the official janitor.
Some years ago a colleague of my wife wanted to mount something to the wall for her classroom. Hey boyfriend said “no big deal” and drilled a small hole into the wall, added a plug and a screw and was done. When the schools principle found out they discussed on a penalty and/or fire her. -

Yikes! Then forget my suggestion. I’d hate to be responsible for something like that happening.
I’m glad my son doesn’t go to THAT school. What the hell kind of punishment do you get for a REAL crime over there?

If you’re a student in North Korea then definitely DO NOT do that.
