Hi,
i dont get this to work.I already have setup a bot for ioBroker. I want to have this Notifications also in the MagicMirror.
Is that even possible to use the same token on 2 devices?- because when i enter the API Token in the MagicMirror-Config i get some warning in ioBroker and no chat or something in MM2.
warn: telegram.0 (17441) polling_error: ETELEGRAM, ETELEGRAM: 409 Conflict: terminated by other getUpdates request; make sure that only one bot instance is runningMy config looks like
{ module: 'MMM-TelegramBot', config: { telegramAPIKey : 'Api-Token', allowedUser : ['username'] } },I use pages and i have fixed “MMM-TelegramBot”.

@oberfragger I’ve had a few issues getting i to work as well but eventually it works. Rebooted the RasPi on the way so that might help although I doubt it.
And don’t forget to include your chatID as descripbed in the README.I think the error is not necessarily the problem. I got that as well when starting the mirror on the laptop as well, so having two front-end instances running. Module still worked

I’m astonished by the power of this module and the telegram bot. I am using it to send messages and pictures to the mirror. And it is so much fun, especially for the kids.
What I am missing is:
can the last messages of the chat be loaded at startup? Does anyone know?
They do not in my case.It’s a shame that there’s apparently no support from the owner anymore here, so I might decide to work with a fork and publish it here again to have a support and troubleshooting base on this forum again.

@lavolp3 really? 😂
-
@bugsounet am I wrong? It’s a great module as a lot of the other ones @Sean has established. Happy for any support you can give to the people here.
-
@lavolp3 @bugsounet has taken over quite a few of Sean’s modules.

I know. No problem for me as long as the modules get troubleshooting support on this forum or at least on github. Which I don’t think they do anymore.
