After update to Mirror to 2.1.3 - no working Whitlist
-
Hi !
At 2pm i have updated my mirror to Version 2.1.3.
but now i can`t access the Mirror from my Home PC./*************** AUTO GENERATED BY REMOTE CONTROL MODULE ***************/ var config = { port: 8081, electronOptions: { }, ipWhitelist: [ "127.0.0.1", "::ffff:127.0.0.1", "::1", "192.168.178.20/24" ], language: "de", modules: [ { module: "alert",
In Mirror Version 2.1.2 it works very well.
Is the ipWhitelist wrong ?
I`d like to get access from my whole network after the router like 192.168.178.x --> EndSandy2503

Had the same issue. added
address:"0.0.0.0",
to the config and it’s working again.

Me too… my old WL settings don’t work & also using a blank whitelist (which the update description says should allow all hosts) also doesn’t work.
Should the font also look different? I realise the Roboto font was ‘moved’ but should it still apply (or do I have to define it in CSS?)

Yea, same here

Same problem here. ipWhitelist worked in 2.1.2. 2.1.3. no more.
VNC works, Putty works. MMM-Remote-Control cannot be accessed.Hein-Jan

Thanks d3r!

That happens because the release 2.1.3 was introduced a new change to make more secure the MagicMirror, to prevent open all interfaces to world. So, now from 2.1.3 the default values for
address
is localhost instead of 0.0.0.0… so …be careful to set this value. -
@roramirez - and how can i now access to my mirror from my homenetwork ?
What do i have to do ???

address:“0.0.0.0”,
Thanks d3r, this was indeed the solution.
