Amazon Fire 7/8/10 & Magic Mirror...

Isn’t this a magic mirror forum?!? Or am I mistaken… Is it exclusive to what you mentioned above only - I don’t see that written anywhere… I was here looking for help but atm don’t seem to getting much from anyone (based on ‘answers’ / ‘advice’).

@TGBB
There are severalMagic Mirror
orSmart Mirror
things in the world. However, in this forum, we usually discuss onlyMagicMirror²
which was created byMichael Teeuw
at first and managed by the open-source community. As I know, all other Mirror things are inspired by the original mirror - this.
Frankly, we don’t have any interest in other Mirror things. So, that is not our fault there might be no place to talk about those things. Because we didn’t make or deal them. Please consider that point. -
WOW…!!!

Just to calm things down a bit…
You could possibly run MM on a Raspberry Pi (something inexpensive) and display it on the Fire. I could test it out soon, I have both. The MM-Remote-Control module has an option to display the MM from a web browser.

@jasondreher that would be HELPFUL thanks.

Yes, one of them. Specifically, MagicMirror² for the Raspberry Pi.
Or am I mistaken…
Gravely.
Is it exclusive to what you mentioned above only
It is, although help for other things can be gotten here if one communicates politely and waits patiently.
I don’t see that written anywhere…
Oh really?
“MagicMirror² is an open source modular smart mirror platform. With a growing list of installable modules, the MagicMirror² allows you to convert your hallway or bathroom mirror into your personal assistant. MagicMirror² is built by the creator of the original MagicMirror with the incredible help of a growing community of contributors.”
MagicMirror² repository link at the top of every page of this forum.

“as they have dropped in price atm and it’s easier than buying a Pi and coding it and or alot of effort”
Sooooooo you’re saying “I want this I just don’t want to put the effort into it”…
This is not that type of thing. We have pro’s here helping those who want to learn something…that’s what this is…
THIS was done because someone wanted others to benefit from his hard work and took, and still is, the time to make it better … ALL done for free!!! The ONLY thing that is ever asked is that the user put some effort into it. Simple enough.
There are SO many people that have helped me here and without them I would have been lost NOW I’m writing my own modules and have learned and still am learning js.
THIS is what THIS is. This isn’t a “I’m gonna buy me a cheap tablet and then just plunk an apk on it and have what I want” thing.
Let me tell you how many people have donated their time and talent for FREE.
We’re sorry if you’re answer doesn’t come within 3 seconds of the question and that it doesn’t do what you want…you’ll have to put effort into it.
A little kindness goes a long way…

Have I joined a kids forum?!? Feels like it… I was giving people another option to make themselves a magic mirror. I didn’t know this would cause such a knicker twist for many and I didn’t know this was a exclusive club either. I was going to build a Pi version also but I was asking if it would be possible in what I asked and thought if it helped others to be able to make a magic mirror more easy then I didn’t see the prob with that (after all this is a forum and they are normally to ask questions and share thoughts and get advice). I hadn’t moaned once about waiting for a answer either?!? Not sure where you / others got that from. I cannot be bothered to argue with people acting like children.
