I am also looking for a NHL/NBA module for my Mirror.
ESPN has an API that I will be looking into

Changelog:

Added two config options (matches, rotateInterval) to have a smaller display, but still be able to see all matches

Feel free to test, if there are no bugs found I will publish the module.
