NHL Module
-
Would anyone be able to create a NHL module? Very similar to the MMM-NFL by fewieden.
Thanks!
-
@nhl do you got a free api for it?
-
Not that I’m aware of. But can the data from this be used?
http://live.nhle.com/GameData/RegularSeasonScoreboardv3.jsonp -
thats not nhl data there are only country names
-
That’s because the world cup of hockey is currently taking place. After its over it’ll be back to the NHL team data
-
@nhl just give me a notice when it’s changed and i will have a look into this
-
You got it. Thank!

This post is deleted! -
@bobbob601 i will wait for the live service to return the original data and then I will see what suits the best to make it as similar as possible to the nfl one
-
@strawberry-3.141 Most the data is back up. Just disregard Canada, Sweden, Russia, and Europe.
Thanks!
-
I am also looking for a NHL/NBA module for my Mirror.
ESPN has an API that I will be looking into
http://www.espn.com/static/apis/devcenter/docs/scores.html#using-the-apiIf I make any progress ill post the results and let you know.
-
Here’s a list of ALL sports you can use the ESPN Api for…

-
the first prototype is nearly finished for the nhl module
-
Just of curiosity, how is this project going?
-
@kevinb311 you can find the prototype here [card:fewieden/MMM-NHL] will be updated in the next days for proper display
-
@kevinb311 I’ve been using it for about a month without any issues!
-
Yeah he does GREAT work :)
-
Changelog:
- Added two config options (matches, rotateInterval) to have a smaller display, but still be able to see all matches
Feel free to test, if there are no bugs found I will publish the module.

@strawberry-3.141 Thanks for all your hard work. I will install it now and test.

@strawberry-3-141 how difficult would it be to adapt your NHL module for an NBA module? Just a matter of changing any NHL references to NBA (teams, states, etc.) and calling the ESPN NBA API?
