        Hey Chris,

this is probably a bit of a last minute order, but I got my PI working a few hours ago.

It’s a shame you don’t do self-collection anymore as I often drive through your area, but I guess that was even more work for you than ordering the actual mirrors…
But still a really cool sercive, I work in building construction as well and know how difficult some of the companies are. ;)

        # username width (m) height (m) real area (m²) area to pay for (min. 0,4 m²) location of delivery additional comments (like polished edges) confirmed

          Hi Chriz,

I now realized, that I switched the width and height in the table - of course it does not matter for a regular mirror, but as I have no experience with this kind of mirrors and I want to make sure there will be no disortions if I rotate it 90 degrees :-)

I know it’s a stupid question, but it’s not cheapest, so I’d rather be sure.

          Thanks!

              Hey there,

I hope that I’m not too late, but I’d like to change the dimensions of my mirror, the table should look like this then:

              # username width (m) height (m) real area (m²) area to pay for (min. 0,4 m²) location of delivery additional comments (like polished edges) confirmed
              1 rufu 0,71 0,60 0,43 0,43 Bratislava - Slovakia polished edges
              2 blafpap 0,89 0,504 0,45 0,45 Nieuwveen - Nederland polished edges
              3 essert 1,00 0,6 0,6 0,6 Friedrichshafen - Germany polished edges
              4 derRAV3N 0,4 1,0 0,4 0,4 Billerbeck - Germany polished edges
              5 AC 0,554 0,738 0,408852 0,41 Muenchen - Germany polished edges

So are you even gonna go through this with even 5 people buying a mirror?

              Greetings,
              Raphael

Hello @Goldjunge_Chriz, I’ve received the mirror today. I liked it a lot, only that I had made up the idea that it was a little thicker, but even better for the piece of furniture that I am building (I will put pictures in the “show your mirror” section of the forum when is finished).

I just wanted to ask you a question, in one of the faces of the mirror, there is a film of very fine material, which can be extracted. Does that mean there is one face through which you look better than the other? Or in other words, what is the purpose of protecting only one of the faces with that film? (I put a picture of it)

Regards and thank you very much for the management!

                                @qu1que

A two-way mirror can be looked through from both side with a mirror reflection on one side

A one-way mirror is usually pretty difficult to look through the mirrored side, but can easily be look through the non-mirrored side.

They usually have a rating, like most one-ways will only let around 75 to 95 percent of light through the mirrored side.

whereas a two-way can range from 5% to 70%, with the most common being around 35-50%.

At least that what I found during my research.

the foiled surface is the area you are looking into. The film is only to protect the mirror surface, you can deduct it. on the other side (the unfused side) comes your monitor, which shines through the glass. I hope I could help you :)
