@strawberry-3.141 I did not use
sudoshould I? -
@lucallmon I never installed it with sudo rights
-
@strawberry-3.141 one of my biggest problems is that after trying to install this module, my AlexaPi doesn’t work anymore. I think it has something to do with the re-install of sphinx. Once I figure this out, I’ll reinstall AlexaPi.
-
@strawberry-3.141 so what is your suggestion in my case?
-
@lucallmon can you check your access rights for user pi in
MMM-voice,modulesand a different module -
@strawberry-3.141 sorry, i’m pretty much a NOOB, how do I do that?
-
@strawberry-3-141 Ok, using
sudoto install dependencies, I was able to get through 5/6, but now 6/6 failed:[STEP 5/6] Installing npm dependencies dependencies.sh: line 106: cd: /root/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-voice: No such file or directory npm WARN enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/root/pocketsphinx/package.json' npm WARN pocketsphinx No description npm WARN pocketsphinx No repository field. npm WARN pocketsphinx No README data npm WARN pocketsphinx No license field. @lucallmon this will not work as it tries to look and do stuff in
/root/...instead of/home/pi/... -
I’m curious if someone ever tried to find the easter egg in this module :thinking:

I tried the voice command, “Show me some boobs”, but I got nothing. :-)
The same exact response I get from my wife.
-
@strawberry-3.141 I found it, I just didn’t want to post any spoilers.

How about a hint then? You can pm it if you don’t want to spoil it for others
-
@Mykle1 A hint would be if you want to test it as a voice command you need to have mmm-tts installed as well or you try to reverse engineer it then you can start at the mmm-tts notification ;)
-

This is an impossibility. “shrug”
-
@Mykle1 then you need mmm-tts to hear the response when you found it :)
-
I’m sworn to secrecy… will not tell :) Install MMM-TTS and you’ll love it when you find it! :)

My mirror does not have sound (yet) so I’ll have to install tts on my MM Sports Laptop
-
Do I run
sudo apt-get festivalin the MMM-TTS directory? -
This post is deleted! -
@Mykle1 it doesnt matter in which directory you run the command
