The Italian "dual" Job [Build]
-
Hi to all,
this is my first try, i’m building a dual system magicmirror with garbage things :D.First of all bought an old paint with size that fit my trash monitors:

disassembled:

so a build an electronics frame:

And:

Build a bracket for the little amazon echo:

So i’ve applied a mirror skin to my old glass (good enough to see how it works)
Sorry no photos about that, i was in work DIY frenzy :)Now it’s time to the first run:

and right side:

Still TO DO:
- paint frame in white
 - apply sonoff to the monitors (i will control via Alexa behind the mirror)
 - buy a real two way mirror (anyone know where in Bologna, IT)

for any advice, i’m here and glad to know
Bye!!! -
@n3fasto your google drive isn’t open for the public. So your pictures doesn’t work.
 -
thanks a lot; let me know if it’s ok now

@cr4z33 because of the blu round light when it wake up and because it was on my storage without any utility from a looong time :)
 -
@n3fasto OK…

@cr4z33 said in The Italian "dual" Job [Build]:
Why did you prefer to use a REAL Amazon device instead of MMM-Alexa?
I remember all the grief i had trying to get that module working…and then stay working…i would’ve paid the small amount for the spot and be done with it too! LOL

A very clever layout. Nice.

This is the release candidate result :-)

Both monitors are connected with a single sonhoff and Alexa can Power On and Off the “mirror”

Hi, one thing i want to konw.
You use one raspberry pi for both screens?
If yes, how do you setup the pi?
