Hi I am using a Pi4B with a Acer QG271 connected via HDMI and I am unable to turn the monitot off using the interface. I have tried reinstalling the module. All the other functions work. When I click the Monitor Off button it reports Done, no errors.

Thoughts anyone?

I think I was able to get to the bottom of this, you need to subscribe to the API giving your credit card information, also API 2.5 is deprecated for new users, I entered in contact with Open Weather and they have sent me this information.

Hope this helps people in the future.

What service did you subscribe to, as that looks like the only way to enter your credit card info.

@sdetweil I deleted the old api key and made a new one, same result. The default weather modules load and this one doesn’t.

@sdetweil yeah, I was worried that might be the case as well, which is why I went to a fresh install and left the original weather module using the same key.

Same key, same quotes, no spaces, default settings and this is the result.

Config is setup for default weather module current, then forecast and then MMM-OpenWeatherMapForecast, which is stuck on Loading.

@sdetweil any thoughts on why this is occurring on a fresh install of MM and this module? I also just checked the MM change logs and i am definitely running the latest version (## [2.20.0] - 2022-07-02).

@sdetweil correct. The first too are the default weather modules and the last one is the OpenWeatherMapForecast. I used the sample config provided, I also adjusted as you recommended. I used the default as a test to ensure that the api key etc was working.

When I am in Chromium and I press ctrl+shift and i see the below red text. Sorry is this what you mean?

Hi,

I updated my MM with this module and was unable to get it to work, it was just stuck on Loading… so, I tried to revert to the default weather module and same result. Next option was to do a fresh install, so I renamed my MagicMirror folder and installed a clean version and got the default weather module to work with my api key, success. I then reinstalled the OpenWeatherMapForecast module and added the default sample configuration with my api key and it is still stuck on loading, good news is that the default weather module stills works.

Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

@ally side note my Google calendar has now stopped working. When I obtain new credentials i get “Error: invalid_grant”.

Hi,

I had this working but exactly 1 week to the hour it stopped working. I have checked the and the status is enabled and the publishing status is in production. I have re-downloaded the credentials and I get an error says that the “token has been expired or revoked” .

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Does anyone know how to add Google reminders to the Magic Mirror. I have my Google calendars showing correctly (using MMM-GoogleCalendar) but the reminders are not showing. Search Google and forum, but I am unable to find an answer.
