      @justjim1220 OK I ran the update succesfully by deleting the CSS.

      However I would like to revert to how it was looking before the update (static image on the left and smaller scrolling text). :grimacing_face:
      How do I do that please?

      @justjim1220 althought I know ZERO about developing, JSON, CSS & Co. I was doing a quick search on Google about scrolling text stuttering in Electron on slow devices and I found out a suggestion at Stackoverflow.com that actually improved A LOT the overall perfomance of the newsfeed scrolling!

      Go open /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-NewsFeedTicker/MMM-NewsFeedTicker and replace

      .MMM-NewsFeedTicker .tickerbody {
        position: relative;

      with

      .MMM-NewsFeedTicker .tickerbody {
        position: relative;
        transform: translateZ(0);
        backface-visibility: hidden;

      You should notice now an improvement. :upside-down_face:

      @cr4z33
      Remove position field? Not tested.

      @bkeyport said in Alert module is always on:

      Position field isn’t supposed to be used.

        {
        	module: "alert",
        },

      Alert will pop over entire screen when called.

      Above is as shown within the sample config

      Ouch my bad. :grimacing_face:
      Thanks to both of you.

    • Alert module is always on

      I don’t know why, but on my MM the Alert module is being always on since a while.

      Can someone please help me hiding it when not needed?

      		{
      			module: "alert",
      			position: "center"
      		},
