@idoodler no just git pull, I had to change the config file in calendar ie where to pull my calendar file from that was the only thing that changed, but the pull wouldn’t happen so I had to rename the folder in order for the pull to happen so that could have been the issue, but it created a new folder so not sure what went on.

@idoodler hi yeah done a git pull but it missed some of the contents of that folder.

@sdetweil im leaving it with the ; in the command line?

@sdetweil so is it just this part i need to put on_event_start /home/pi/MagicMirror/modules/MMM-SleepWake/external_motion started

@sdetweil motion.conf won’t let me edit it, or rather the pi won’t any way around this?

@sdetweil thank you, i have located it with your help, ill work on this when im not at work thanks, so its just a case of adding one of your scripts? think ill just use the start one

@sdetweil i have followed it as best as i could i have the package installed and have located the motion folder in my user directory but for the life of me i cant find this motion.conf file to insert your script.

Your joking! So is that the packaged installed with that command? As what I was looking at was totally different to this. Thanks for your help.
