installed latest mmm-assistant
it seems to me there are a couple of naming mismatches in google account json files naming btw) +
the umdl files found in resources directory on github was leading to an error at runtime when run (pointing to “corrupt” file for model)
after substituting those with the ones found in umdl folder on github it runs but I have no feedback.

I am sure mic and speakers work: i have alexapi too and it works (there I have another problem…can’t install extra skills…anyone has that too?)

Anyway if I try to run MM (after stopping alexapi service of course) I have no feedback.

I am sure it is a local problem as on google backend I have no trace of api calls (not even unsuccessfull attempts).

How can I debug / get further hints at what is happening or rather not happening

I was inspired by your post and am gathering components to set up not only a mirror but my home server there.

One thing is bugging me…noise. my mirror wil be located in the main bedroom where we sleep…
What cooling are you using? How noisy?

Io a Roma il massimo che ho trovato è un rivenditore pilkington le vetrerie medie ti guardano come un marziano :-)

Ok I will re-read the thread (I read it the first timebut at that moment I was not embarked yet …)

my mirror will be a stand up wit likely two screens : a smart top done with 32 inch (turned 90 degrees so width 45) samsung tv I already have and below it a tv 24 inches indipendent).
It will be in a bedroom as mirror-tv-home server (there will be an intel 7700 inside :-))

Naaaaa is it a surface limit or linear dinension limit?
As you have seen from the link above I am more geared to something in the region of 45-50 x 180.

In case you cannot send , could you please provide the tech details of the glass (brand - model) or better the name of their local distributor for italy.

Actually this is not just face recognition (look at the demos ).

And…yes if I was good at programming in JavaScript I would embark in the writing.
And I will indeed try.
But for sure someone proficient should be quicker.
