@GoodWillGustin The background image can’t change transparency with css, you either add background color to the modules above (that’s probably what sean means with the css tip at the bottom of his readme).

You can change the transparency of that entire module, but any text etc would also get affected.

@GoodWillGustin most of the services or apis u might use to access data somewhere are asynchronous. Meaning they will call u back later when they finish or fail.

the thing on the left of : does not need quotes

if the thing to the right of : is a number or true/false, also does not need quotes

if the thing to the right of : has letters in it, then it needs quotes, either kind are ok, but must be the same

yes, if the monitor/tv has the ugly no signal/connection, then u want to use hide

@broberg that’s helpful, thank you. Though now I wonder what the time period is that SystemStats is referencing. I guess I’ll have to pay more attention to how frequently the load fluctuates, which I guess would suggest a shorter time period.
