    • Modern 40” Magic Mirror First Try

My first magic mirror, powered by raspberry pi 3. It’s using a 40” TCL TV for the display behind the two way mirror.

      Video walkthrough:

Took 17 days from installing Raspbian software to finished and hung. Spent around $750 USD (carpenter friend cost $280, TV $100, frame $200, TV stand $70. Not including spare raspberry pi, camera, and mirror I had lying around collecting dust)

I hope this inspires others as much as I’ve been inspired by some of yours.
