Re: Is there a way to show specific compliments on specific dates?

There was an older thread on this where user @ItsMeCobra2006 provided an edit to the compliments.js file that allowed you to provide specific compliments on specifics days, such as ‘Happy Birthday’ on the correct date. This did work well for me, up until the recent 2.10 update, which the Compliments module was updated during this.

I re-edited the compliments.js file to include the same edits as previously, but can’t seem to get day-specific compliments to show up again. Anyone else have alternate solutions to this?

@hermlam I am having this same issue, at least since the most recent MM update. Have you found a solution yet?

@JRB1988 From my experiences, I don’t believe it does.

@TheGeekfather I’m in Calgary and just found it from a local glass shop. I believe they sourced it from Crystal Glass. I got three different quotes, all priced wildly different, so it pays to make a few phone calls.

I’m in Canada and had a hard time finding decently priced two-way mirror glass. I did find a Canadian company that offers acrylic two-way mirror that offers free shipping in Canada. Highly suggest checking them out:

Or, if you want glass and not acrylic, I just called a few window/mirror shops in the area and was able to find a glass supplier that priced me a 14"x24" glass two way mirror for ~$125 CAD. I definitely prefer the look of glass to acrylic as acrylic can bend and have a bit of a fun-house look to it. However, glass is more expensive.

Is anyone else having issues with the MyCommute module hiding itself but then not re-appearing.
I have EndTime setup for 8pm and also HideDays on certain days, however, once it hides, it stays hidden. Until I force it to show using the Remote module.
Otherwise, this Module works great, showing all the traffic times as it should.
