Very nice indeed. Well done!
I have to correct myself. This is more than just nice, I really like the look and the simplicity of it. Now imagine this in a very slim case or even embedded in a dry wall :smiling_face_with_heart-eyes:

Guys, can someone also make a simplified version? No need for internet speed metrics, just the ability to ping specific ip address and return as “internet is working” either “network down”?
Like this? https://github.com/sheyabernstein/MMM-connection-status
Inside the module itself console.log
doesn’t work. Use Log.error
instead and check the output in your browser console, not the terminal/cmd

All 3 blogs show their approach how to keep the mirror glass and the monitor in place.
Please take a look at the solution from DirkS:

@barnosch
Not necessarily. Even smaller companies (those without one base number and dozens of extensions) do add their phone number to public phonebooks. My phone solution does use online lookup and lots of craftspeople who called during our house building phase where identified on the phone showing “Dachdecker Hildebrandt” (for example).

Hello! I have one question! The only type of mirror that you used in that project was the two-way mirror, right? I’m asking this because I’m looking to put 2 types of mirror: a two way one only for the monitor (because it’s a 17 inch 4:3 one and it’s small) and the rest will be just a simple mirror. Thanks in advance and also great project. Good luck.
You don’t need to do that. Use one big mirror glass, place the monitor wherever you want to and make sure the entire rest of the mirror is covered with black foil, black cardboard or something similar. As long as no light from the back reached the area of the mirror glass it works like a mirror and you cannot “look behind”. Only the area which is lit up by the monitor will be see through.
@djbenny07 are you kidding? Look at the three lines you got there for the tube module. All three lines MUST end with a comma
