I think it’s time to show you some pic ;)
I’m using MM as a “HUD” for my home automation project. All the notification from home automation are send to the MM!
I’m using a 42" tv in portrait mode using a RPI3
Both front panel are kind of door so I can open it and go behind the monitor and also behind the lower part where I’m having all the hardware I’m using for the home automation!
Still have some thing to do, like putting some color on the wood to fit the house, probably a little brown like the molding on the ceiling!

Hi! Looking great! I’m working on something similar but in a Mirror, I see you have a graph on the lower third, what module is that? I’m thinking of integrating my Fibaro to show things like power consumption and other graps… :)
Best regards Snille

It’s an iframe module showing a graph from Grafana using data from an energy metering (Z-wave) that get the entire house power consumption!

Ah! Good to know, so the iframe is the thing to use. :) I have to read up on Grafana, looks nice! What Z-Wave controller do you use?

I’m using Vera Plus and Vera Edge just to handle Z-Wave and all others function, like, scene are handle by openLuup!

Need some cleanup for the cables and everything but for the moment all the hardware is inside ;)

http://192.168.1.2:8080/remote?action=SHUTDOWN
http://192.168.1.2:8080/remote?action=MONITORON

http://192.168.1.2:8080/remote?action=MONITORON
http://192.168.1.2:8080/remote?action=MONITOROFFI’m using a ZWave power outlet instead to control the monitor ON/OFF using motion sensor in the house.
But if you still want to play with remotecontrol, you can use some LUA code in a scene! -
I have this code in My Vera Plus and Teo scenes, on, off etc.
local http = require(“socket.http”)
– 5 Second timeout
http.TIMEOUT = 1– The return parameters are in a different order from luup.inet.wget(…)
result, status = http.request(“http://192.168.2.41:8080/remote?action=MONITOROFF”) -
I’m using http request in my LUA like that
local status,result = luup.inet.wget(“http://10.99.99.15:8080/TESTING”")
I also have a URLENCODE function to convert my string…
function urlencode(str) if (str) then str = string.gsub (str, "\n", "\r\n") str = string.gsub (str, "([^%w ])", function (c) return string.format ("%%%02X", string.byte(c)) end) str = string.gsub (str, " ", "%%20") end return str end
