Touch overly VS. "Smart Glass"
-
here is what i am trying to build Click here
But I want to start off small with a “table top” maybe 22" wide x 34" High or something like that.
-
@Hoosierdad Have you managed to get the project done? What solution did you use ?
-
@Hoosierdad I paid about 110.00 for my IR frame…but I"m in the US too. I’m hearing horror stories of people paying HUGE amounts of money for shipping… just be careful whatever you decide :)

This is my final product, the selfie magic mirror !
-
@MattZw this is exactly what I’d love to build. Would you mind sharing with me how you did it and the costs?
-
@MMENT08048 around 3.5k euro
-
@MattZw where did you place the IR frame? Is it on the mirror or the monitor?
-
@MMENT08048 I’m in the beginning stages of making one too. Since your using IR then you are using real glass? I am looking to buy a 36 x 60 inch 2way mirror. I was quoted $2500.00 U.S. Dollars. It’s seems a bit much, can you share what you are finding or maybe you have bought it by now. I heard to use Dialect Glass. Can you let me know any information about the he glass you have found. Acrylic it real glass? Thank you
