    Hello Forum,

    Background info
I have search Google for the answer but everything I try isn’t working.

I have magic mirror boot up to full screen.

I have only just installed the software and it boots up to a full size blank screen. (I’m not sure if that is what is meant to happen?)

    My Question
How do I exit out of full screen mode and get back to my Raspbian desktop?

That is not suppose to happen. It should boot with 4 default modules displaying. Calendar, Clock, Compliments and Newsfeed.

Press your Alt key. This drops down a menu at the top where you can Exit MM, among other things. When you do get to your desktop, copy and paste any errors from your terminal here and we’ll try to get your sorted.

        You can try this:

        • after your magic mirror has loaded, press: Ctrl + q. This should kill Magic Mirror app
        • If you are using pm2 to start the app, it will restart after a few seconds
        • when the app has been killed, you can bring up a terminal window and type: pm2 stop MagicMirror

        Hope it helps.

This is on an old thread, but thank you @Mykle1 .

I used ‘F11’ all of the time to immediately go to a smaller window.

Hey Brandon, you are very welcome. Also, have a look at this page (it’s short but informative) about the key commands you can use while your mirror is running. Have fun!
