    Dear all,

    i have the following problem:
I set up my MM with the default calendar module wich is connected to my icloud calendar. So far the connecton works nice an all the events are showing up. However, the indicated time seems to be off. Specifically i have a calendar which only hold birthdays (each fullday events). Lets assume that today is the 11th and a friends birthday is on the 15th. My MM would tell me that the birthday is in 3 days which seems odd. Moreover, on the 15th the event would dissapear entirely. It would be great if someone could help me to fix this.

I already checked and my raspberry is set to the correct time zone just to rule out the obvious :-)

@Kugelfang Hey there, this is likely the glitch that was detected after the new update of the Magic Mirror app. The counter in the module seems to be missing 1 day for all events. As of now, the issue is still not solved so we will either have to wait for the new update to be out or you can always submit a fork request. However, on the exact date of the event, the calendar should still show the event and state “Today” if the configuration is correct. It should not disappear entirely. Do check your module configuration.

thanks for the info. Actually the “today” message does appear but the entire event dissapears in the afternoon. Could it be that there is a 12h offset?.

@Kugelfang It’s probably just date & time math. Today is probably being evaluated against 1200 (noon). If the event is after 1200 hrs, then it’s resolving as a past event and being removed from the list.

its still very confusing, i had an event in my calendar yesterday which worked just perfect, the whole day long it appread as “today”. Then, i have a identical event today which dissapeared.

i do not get why some events behave different than others.

From the same calendar ics file or a different one?

sorry for digging this up again but my problem ist still unsolved.

yes, both events are on the same ics!

i just realized that the mirrow shows me the full day events as if they were starting just at midnight. somhow it is not recognized that these are full day events which need to be shown throughout the whole day
