Magic Mirror wont start

Im new to this and for my computers class i was assigned to make a magic mirror. I downloaded all the proper files from github correctly and it is in my files properly, yet it wont start. It says its started but im still at the same raspbian homepage (with terminal, web browser, wolfram etc…) the normal default homescreen for raspbian Jessie. Please help im very confused

Did you follow the tutorial for the installation? Post your terminal output here so we can see what it reports when you try to launch MM
