      Hi,
      Just like you I am new to this, started about a week ago and learned a lot.
      On my computerscreen MM is working with a lot of modules that I added (and sometimes removed).
      In the beginning it is very hard to find answers because you have soo many questions.
      But there are some very good tutorials that can help.
      And you have to read a lot (using the search function).
      But isn’t that part of the fun?
      Try this:

        Also new person but I think I can help. Could you give a bit more info? How far are you in the installation process? If you have everything installed you can start your MagicMirror by opening the terminal and typing:

        cd ~/MagicMirror
        npm start

        and your mirror should appear.

          Pay particular attention to the 2nd post in the link that Peter gave you. Some dude wrote up a bunch of excellent tutorials for beginners. ;-)

          Peace

            Thanks a lot Peter! That helped me out a ton! I have it up and running now but the weather isn’t displayed and the screen didn’t rotate. Help with troubleshooting that would be great! I would also like to know how to customize it to my personal preference. Thanks in advance!

              When I started I also had a lot of things not working the way I wanted.
              I just tried to solve one problem at a time.
              And after solving it I saved the config file or the custom. css on a usb stick.
              In between a lot of searching and reading in this forum; there are a lot of answers and ideas to find here!
              So, tell us what problem you want to solve first (and do some searching …)
              Peter (waiting for the Samsung monitor to arrive …)

                @Coltjb45

                Start with weather not showing. You need an API key as described in the readme file for the weather module

                  @Mykle1 I went and grabbed the api key and entered it in and still can’t get it to work, I must be doing something wrong?

                    Does your entry look like this?

                    {
                    	module: "currentweather",
                    	position: "top_right",
                    	header: "New York",
                    	config: {
                    		location: "",
                    		locationID: "5128581",  //ID from http://www.openweathermap.org/help/city_list.txt
                    		appid: "YOUR API KEY HERE",
                    		}
                    	},
                    	{
                    	module: "weatherforecast",
                    	position: "top_right",
                    	header: "New York City",
                    	config: {
                    		location: "",
