i have a problem where i can’t get my pi to connect to the internet ,after trying for a while i’ve decided to reinstall raspbian.
i will want to reinstall magicmirror after this-whats the easiest/fastest way of doing this?
obviously i’ll need to backup my config.js
can i copy the entire magicmirror folder and transfer it after the install?
any tips or walkthroughs on this will be greatlt appreciated

@sdetweil’s install script is by far the easiest/fastest/best way of installing MM. https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/10171/anyone-want-to-try-updated-installer

@mrdenmark This is what I do:
Make regularly a backup of the SD-card image and store it away to a safe place. Depending on your environment (Windows, mac, Linux, …) there exist lots of great tools for backing up and restoring SD cards. On my Mac I use ApplePi Baker. Here is a description on how to backup the SD card under Linux

@mrdenmark copy the whole MagicMirror folder to another name
run the install script to get the rest of the system updated
then move the new MagicMirror folder out of the way, and move the copied one back
