@sdetweil because I read the post, saw “Note: This update uses new dependencies. Please update using the following command: git pull && npm install”, and TL;DR the rest.

@sdetweil honestly, I forgot about your script work - twice over… Just recently installed a test install of MM too, and I was gonna use your work - That pi is annoying me a bit, so I may reinstall.

As I get update notices, I pop on here to make sure I’m gonna do things right, then follow the post instructions after a quick read to confirm.

looks like one of the modules is having trouble…

@chassain-0 but the upgrade was supposed to handle this… can I see the log?

u have to run the script twice, right? once to test and once to apply

so, it looks like u did the test (no parms)
                            and it worked

but then did not do the rerun with ‘apply’, but did a pull?
and then tried to run with apply, but already upgraded,

u can use ‘force’ as another parm to apply over same version

@chassain-0 it says you must have done the git pull before doing the upgrade-script…
(already at 2.10.0 when script started)

test doesn’t change any files, but apply runs were aborted as the installed version was already at 2.10.0, so no npm install was done by script
