      Hi Guys…
how does it work with the backup when I install magic mirror on a laptop using unbutu?

Do I have to do a backup the whole machine? ???

with the Raspberry it is simply … backup the sd card and if something is broken, simply reload the backup and you’re done.

Sorry for my Question thats everything new for me…🤗

You can simply copy the MagicMirror folder to the external media of your choice. No need to backup the entire machine.

            Hi there,

            digging this out again…

Sorry for the stupid Question: Just copy the Folder - install nothing?
Just copy the Folder to a fresh installed Raspbian?

            Thanks!

@Mondfisch do a fresh install off Raspbian than do a fresh install of Magic Mirror an than replace the MagicMirror folder with your Magic Mirror folder…that’s it.
