    @hofhux i didn’t mount it in a cabinet… my chromebook is intel… i did just crush the screen twice while in the hospital, but they were easy to change… and would be easy to mount I think… i would leave as much of the normal guts as possible,…

    I did it. Is not my “Main Magic Mirror”, I just made it for fun. I have no mirror, only the simple screen.     You are welcome. I guess you will need to find out on your own if the laptop fullfills your requirements. Power consumption is one aspect, another is loudness and heat due to fans in your laptop.
