      Re: Weather graph & calendar with custom MMM-forecast-io

      Hi @FlatPepsi,

      I am interested to use your weather forecast module with chart which seems very nice.

      As I did not find this information, is a “git clone …” and “npm install” command needed to install the files ? before configuring the config file?

      Thank in advance and thank you for your interest and your job!

        @com1cedric 1st git clone,

        see the links below in my signature, they will help a lot… I didn’t write them

        npm install

        if the module has a file named package.json
        THEN you do npm install
        otherwise not needed

            One other thing, if you get a blank screen after installing a module, check the logs, if it mentions “Request” - you have to reinstall it.

            see https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/15666/add-request-to-modules/

              @BKeyport its not just request (there are 5 libs at least )

              this module doesn’t have a node_helper, and no package.json, so this can’t be an issue…

                @sdetweil Fair enough. I wasn’t aware of the others. Request is the one I’ve seen by far the most missed.

                  hello Sam, could you please tell me the complete “git clone” command to get the files on “https://github.com/FlatPepsi17/MMM-forecast-io”

                  sorry for the inconvenience, I am quite new on this topic and I really appreciate your help.

                  Thanks a lot.
